Where do we stay?

Where do we stay? - Accommodations vary from trip to trip and fishery to fishery.  Depending upon the chosen destination, one can stay in comfortable fixed lodges, air-conditioned riverboats or exotic safari camps.  You can find details about each of our trip types in our fishing schedule section. Where you stay depends on the trip type you select and upon floating bungalow camp - air-conditioned cabinyour specific interests.

Our elegant "Blackwater Explorer" yacht is spacious, comfortable and secure.  She features individual thermostats in each air-conditioned cabin and welcome hot showers in the private bathrooms.  The Blackwater Explorer is an amazing haven of luxury in the middle of the world's largest wilderness.

Many of our featured trips are operated with safari-style camps.  One of our clients dubbed them "Jungalows".  It's a pretty good name.  We've recently upgraded our accommodations from safari style tents to our new, comfortable, floating bungalows.  Built onto fiberglass pontoons, the roomy bungalows have carpeted wooden floors and are fully screened, air-conditioned and rainproofed.  Featuring two beds, storage space and a table and chair, the living space is ample and pleasant.  Each bungalow has its own private bathroom with a toilet, pump-driven sink and shower.  The sleeping areas are equipped with lighting and fans.  Our staff clean the bungalows, make the beds, and wash and dry laundry on a daily basis.  The only thing missing is the little chocolate treat on your bed at night.  Considering how remote our fishing locations are, the accommodations are surprisingly good.  In fact, you'll find it to have all the comforts of home with a little touch of jungle elegance added.
