Variety Exploratory  - Rio Travessão -  Winter '2009 Basic Riverside Tent Camping

The 2009 trips will be operated by Amazon Fringe Expeditions, usinge their proven exploratory technique of total immersion in the fishery.  Nothing fancy.  Simple tents, riverbank camping and barbecued fish and meat with rice and beans.  We’ll carry our camp with us as we wend our way through the descending river’s changing environments.  With this simplicity comes extreme mobility and flexibility.  Six groups, with eight anglers per group will experience this amazing land that time forgot.
         If you’re not afraid to rough it and you’re looking for some unique fishing excitement, then join us next January and February, 2009 on the upper Travessão and fish this angler's paradise. 

Note - All river/date combinations are based on expected water level conditions.  Sometimes the weather causes dry seasons to begin a little earlier or later than usual.  If the seasons shift, it is possible that we may elect to fish other rivers during some of the dates shown to optimize fishing conditions and take advantage of the best water levels.
