  Featured Fishing Trips   -  Our complete schedule

For specific trip types and facilities information, select the category below;

Safari-Style Camps Peacock Bass - Safari-style camps are designed with the hard-core, adventurous angler in mind.    The key theory behind safari camps is to access the most inaccessible waters in the Amazon.  Hosted safari trips in Brazil are offered on selected, big-fish rivers.

Yacht Trips Peacock Bass - Fishing from an air-conditioned mother ship in the Amazon offers the best of both worlds.   The yacht-based trips boast both incredible mobility and relaxed comfort.  Water levels and fishing conditions often change on a weekly basis in the Amazon.  A well-run mother ship operation can keep its clients in productive water despite changing conditions.

Lodges -  Peacock Bass - Accommodations offer comfortable, air-conditioned lodging, private bathrooms, hot showers and all the comforts of home.  Lodge trips are a good bet for those who want to experience the great outdoors while remaining secure from the ‘wilds’ of the jungle.  The best type of trip to bring along a non-fishing companion. Virtually all fixed camps are located on one or more productive fisheries.

Exploratory Trips -  We're always looking for great new fisheries.  Each year we explore one or more untested rivers.  When we find one with potential, we organize an exploratory trip, often limited to 4 to 6 adventurous anglers.  Although the camps are sometimes basic (pup tents, thermarest pads, shore meals and open-air bathrooms), the sky's the limit when it comes to the fishing opportunities.

Variety Trips - Mixed Species - Sometimes our explorations pay off with the discovery of an extraordinary fishery.  Great variety, beautiful scenery and exclusive access to unique fisheries are the goals we seek.  Our variety trips offer anglers the opportunity to sample multiple species and to pursue new world records.

Payara - Take the bone-jarring strike of a peacock bass and the aerial exploits of the dorado, couple that with immense, high speed runs and more stamina than a marathon runner and you have the blueprint for the payara’s fighting strategy.  The lodge at Uraima Falls offers excellent accommodations and sumptuous meals, while the spectaculat cascading waters at Uraima Falls contain the largest payara in the world.

Freshwater Dorado - The dorado is one of the greatest fighting gamefish in the world. This extraordinary jumper combines the swimming habits of a salmon with the ferocity and predatory instincts of a tiger shark.  It violently hammers lures and flies, then immediately explodes out of the water in a series of outrageous leaps and line stripping runs.
Acute Angling is introducing a brand new dorado exploratory in Brazil's gigantic Pantanal wetland.  We plan to explore the Pantanal in search of big breeders leaving their spawning grounds.  Or fish the Ibera Marsh, one of the most beautiful, pristine wildernesses in the world, loaded with some of the largest dorado in existence.

Tarpon at Rio Parismina Lodge - It is here on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, that enormous schools of marauding tarpon search to satisfy their endless appetite.  Casting a plug or fly into a school of feeding tarpon is just the start of one of the greatest experiences an angler can have.  Perhaps no other fish will take a lure so softly and then explode into wild, acrobatic leaps to throw the lure.  Rio Parismina Lodge also offers anglers the opportunity to catch world record class snook, snapper, wahoo, jack crevalle, king mackerel and tuna.  The seemingly endless network of rivers, streams and lagoons teem with sporty gamefish with names like machaca, mojara and guapote.
