Acute Angling is focused on making your travel itineraries as comfortable and practical as possible. With that in mind, we have become experts at managing the vagaries of airline travel, hotel reservations, transfers and charters.

Have you tried to make sense of the wildly gyrating airline industry lately? Routes and schedules change as fast as airline policies and procedures. As a result, optimizing travel to exotic destinations is a constant challenge. Acute Angling, together with our travel industry partners, automatically plans standard itineraries and reserves travel arrangements for each angler on all of our planned trips.

Below are some typical itineraries for Acute Angling's Brazil peacock bass trips: (Please note that it is common for these itineraries to vary due to airline scheduling changes.)

Sample Itinerary - Fall Safari Camp Trip
Friday Depart Miami via International flight, about 9:00 PM
Saturday Arrive in Manaus, Brazil, early morning. After clearing customs you are met by our agent and transferred to the domestic airport for a charter flight to the Blackwater Explorer. Arrive in time for lunch aboard and begin the cruise upriver to the fishing grounds. Overnight in air-conditioned cabins. At dawn on Friday, board your fishing boats and go fishing.
Sunday through Friday Six full days of fishing. Your angling day begins with a 5:30 AM wake up call followed by breakfast at 6:00 AM. Your guide will be ready to depart at first light, although you can remain in camp at your leisure. Relax for an hour at lunchtime each day. Return to camp by dusk for appetizers, drinks and bragging, followed by a delicious dinner. Jungle hikes, spotlighting trips and night catfishing can be arranged.
Saturday Saturday morning, take the floatplane or charter back to Manaus, arriving Thursday afternoon. Relax at the Tropical Hotel in Manaus or book a city tour, shop or enjoy great Brazilian restaurants. Overnight at the Tropical in Manaus.
Sunday Depart Manaus via International flight. Arrive Miami - Sunday late afternoon.
Sample Itinerary - Fall "Blackwater Explorer" Yacht Trip
Wednesday - 9:00 PM Depart Miami via International flight, about 9:00 PM
Thursday Arrive in Manaus, Brazil, early morning. After clearing customs you are met by our agent and transferred to the domestic airport for a charter flight to the Blackwater Explorer. Arrive in time for lunch aboard and begin the cruise upriver to the fishing grounds. Overnight in air-conditioned cabins. At dawn on Friday, board your fishing boats and go fishing.
Friday through Wednesday Six full days of fishing. Your angling day begins with a 5:30 AM wake up call followed by breakfast at 6:00 AM. Your guide will be ready to depart at first light, although you can remain in camp at your leisure. Relax for an hour at lunchtime each day. Return to the yacht by dusk for appetizers, drinks and bragging, followed by a delicious dinner. Jungle hikes, spotlighting trips, night catfishing and local village visits can be arranged.
Thursday After overnight cruise downriver, transfer back to Manaus via charter flight. Relax at the Tropical Hotel, book a city tour, shop or enjoy great Brazilian restaurants. Overnight at the Tropical .
Friday Depart Manaus via International flight. Arrive Miami - Friday late afternoon.
Sample Itinerary - Winter Safari Camp Trip
Thursday Depart Miami via International flight, about 9:00 PM
Friday Arrive Manaus, Brazil, early morning. After clearing customs you will be met by our agent and transferred to the domestic airport. Board a charter or board our float plane directly to the camp. Relax and enjoy lunch and get your gear ready for fishing.
Saturday through Thursday Six full days of fishing. Your angling day begins with a 5:30 AM wake up call followed by breakfast at 6:00 AM. Your guide will be ready to depart at first light, although you can remain in camp at your leisure. Relax for an hour at lunchtime each day. Return to camp by dusk for appetizers, drinks and bragging, followed by a delicious dinner. Jungle hikes, spotlighting trips and night catfishing can be arranged.
