Description
Fish for the world's most exciting gamefish on the beautiful, comfortably air-conditioned, "Blackwater Adventurer" Floating Hotel.
The Blackwater Adventurer provides a new level of comfort, exclusivity and intimate group size in its pursuit of the world’s most exciting freshwater gamefish, the giant peacock bass. Live aboard our brand new air-conditioned floating hotel while fishing remote Amazon backwaters in nimble bass boats.
The “Adventurer’s” unique design, featuring a super stable, super-shallow-drafting barge hull allows it to go anywhere, while it’s superior mobility allows it to quickly move into regions with optimal fishing conditions. The never-before implemented combination of these two critical fishing mechanisms, allows the “Adventurer” to maintain superior fishing productivity in a region where fishing conditions often change on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis.
Return each evening to the comfort and security of the Blackwater Adventurer. As in all Acute Angling operations, our luxurious new vessel boasts superb meals, fine wines, impeccable service and an Amazon atmosphere so comfortable, you never want to leave. Purpose built fishing boats, professional guides, incomparable knowledge of the fishery, well-appointed cabins and a full, open, bar make this the most pleasant of Amazon fishing experiences.

Accommodations
The Luxurious Blackwater Adventurer
Built to fish - Our new vessel’s navigational design is different than anything Acute Angling has ever built before. The Rio Curicuriari, where it was conceived, is a navigational challenge; with 90 miles of rocks and rapids in its lower reaches, making it pretty much inaccessible by normal vessels. So, we built our new flagship on a super shallow-drafting barge hull and we use super-safe, Cessna Caravan floatplanes to deliver anglers in comfort and ease, bypassing the difficulties. This vessel has been been built to fish. Its broad 7 meter beam maximizes its functional interior space while its unique barge-style hull, drafting less than ½ meter, lets it pass any obstacle. The Adventurer can easily penetrate into otherwise inaccessible regions. But more important for an angler — You’ll spend your day on fast bass boats fishing productive, hidden backwaters, then return each evening to a comfortable, secure accommodation that doesn’t have to leave to reach a runway, can get into the most difficult waters and has so much mobility that it isn’t tied to a given river or location.

Designed for fishermen - With a debarkation deck that accommodates it’s full complement of 8 anglers, you get started on your fishing day quickly, without crowding, fuss or confusion. The list of the Adventurer’s unique and luxurious features is long. Here are just a few.
- Private bathrooms w/sink, toilet and hot shower in each cabin.
- Roomy cabins with plenty of storage space.
- Two+ meter high ceilings. Gone are the days when six-footers have to duck.
- Spacious dining room and lots of walk-around space.
- Big, wide, non-slip stairwells.
- Large cabin windows provide river views.
- Super-shallow draft for improved access - less than ½ meter (18 inches or less).
Comfort and Security - The "Blackwater Adventurer" will take you to some of the world's most remote fisheries, with more comfort than anyone could expect. And, as in all Acute Angling operations, you can expect the same high level of personal service and the same dedicated fishing expertise that will make the Blackwater Adventurer the ultimate way to access the incredible Amazon peacock bass.
